Eagle Star Deposit Plus Fund

Fund Description
The Deposit Plus Fund currently invests in a variable rate deposit account with AIB Bank (a trading name of Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c.).
The fund is designed to provide a return of the ECB rate + 1%* up until 31st August 2009 and the ECB rate up until 31st August 2010.
The Deposit Plus Fund is attractive for clients wishing to complement a long-term investment strategy with a tactical low risk fund option. It is ideal for clients who want to refrain from investing in equity markets during volatile times and who wish to invest in the Matrix range of funds sometime in the near future. It may also be suitable for pension clients who have a short investment time horizon e.g. if they are close to their retirement age.
Zurich Life's normal product charges apply, including early encashment charges on some products. The returns stated are before deduction of these charges.
* ECB plus 1% up to 31st August 2009 is made up of ECB plus 0.75% from AIB Bank, with an extra 0.25% provided by a reduction in the Zurich Life normal annual management charge up to 31st August 2009.
