Fixed Rate Deposit Fund

Fund Description
This fund is designed to provide a fixed return of 6%* per annum until 30th October 2009. To provide this return, the Fixed Rate Deposit Fund invests in a fixed rate deposit account with Bank of Scotland (Ireland). Zurich Life’s normal product charges apply, including early encashment charges on some products. The return stated is before deduction of these charges.
*5.5% is provided by Bank of Scotland (Ireland). The additional 0.5% is provided by Zurich Life. Clients do not have a deposit with Bank of Scotland (Ireland) or any recourse to Bank of Scotland (Ireland). In the event that Bank of Scotland (Ireland) does not meet its obligations to Zurich Life, or the return on the Bank of Scotland (Ireland) account is otherwise insufficient, the value of the Fixed Rate Deposit Fund will be based only on the value returned from the deposit account with Bank of Scotland (Ireland). No other assets of Zurich Life Assurance plc shall be used to make up the difference.
