Eagle Star Long Bond Fund
Fund Description
The Eagle Star Long Bond Fund invests mainly in longer-dated bonds with
over ten years to maturity primarily issued by Eurozone
governments. The fund is managed against a benchmark of the
Merrill Lynch Eurozone Government over 10 years Bond Index.
The minimum duration of the fund may not be less than 75% of the benchmark
index duration. The managers may also invest in supranational
bonds, other investment grade corporate and non-sovereign bonds
and bond-based financial instruments. Corporate bonds are
capped at a maximum of 10% of the fund, and no more than 10% of
the fund may be in non-Eurozone bonds. In terms of currency,
the fund is managed from the point of view of a Eurozone
investor. The fund is managed by Eagle Star Investments.
