National Wellbeing Day

Zurich is encouraging employees to walk a mile and get active on National Workplace Wellbeing Day, an initiative of Food Drink Ireland and IBEC that aims to improve employee health.

If you have ever wanted to get out of the office for a walk or run at lunchtime, but never seem to get the time - National Workplace Wellbeing Day on 31st March is a date for your diary.

Next Friday 31st March, Zurich will mark National Wellbeing Day, an initiative of Food Drink Ireland and IBEC that aims to improve employee health by promoting better nutrition and physical activity.

Supporting this initiative, Zurich together with the help of our wellbeing partners, is encouraging employees to get involved on the day by joining in the 'lunchtime mile' where employees can run, walk or cycle for an half an hour over lunchtime.

Supporting National Workplace Wellbeing Day is part of Zurich's employee wellbeing programme and its commitment to giving employees the resources and tools to help them to look after their mental and physical health.

This initiative also fits well with Zurich's Tackle Your Feelings partnership with IRUPA which promotes the benefits of getting active, talking to friends and colleagues and the positive impact this can have on your mental and physical fitness.
