How it works

This fund invests in the Pictet Emerging Local Currency Debt Fund. Local currency bonds mean that the bonds are issued in the currency of the issuing country.

The fund's objective is to seek revenue and capital growth by investing a minimum of two-thirds of its total assets or wealth in a diversified portfolio of bonds and other debt securities linked to emerging country debt.

As this fund invests some of its assets outside the eurozone, a currency risk arises for a euro investor.

Examples of currencies invested in could include, Russian Rouble, Malaysian Ringgit or Brazilian Real.

The fund is managed by Pictet.
