How it works

Over the long-term, investing in higher risk assets such as equities is expected to give higher returns. However, this may not be appealing if you're looking for a less volatile vehicle for your money. By investing across a wider range of asset classes, as well as having a lower exposure to higher risk assets, the AAA fund can deliver lower volatility.

It's designed to perform in a variety of market conditions, so if equities are under performing, it can be counter-balanced by the performance of other asset classes which have low/lower correlations to the movement in equity prices.

The fund invests in a number of existing Zurich Life actively managed funds including the International Equity Fund and Active Fixed Income Fund as well as a number of Exchange Traded Funds/Certificates (ETFs). Our team of fund managers actively manage the allocation between the different asset classes.

A currency risk arises as some of the investments held are from outside the eurozone.
