How it works
The fund objective is to provide investors with exposure to the European (ex UK) real estate sector. The fund currently achieves this by investing in the iShares European Property Yield UCITS ETF.
This is an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) managed by BlackRock. Zurich Life reserves the right to replace this ETF with another fund at any stage.
The Index covers property companies and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) that pay a higher percentage of their profits as income. The index covers companies listed in developed European countries (except for the UK). A currency risk arises for a euro investor, as some of the underlying companies operate outside the Eurozone.
BlackRock does not guarantee that the iShares European Property Yield UCITS ETF will always exactly mirror the index due to, amongst other things, the time lag and costs of reflecting changes in the index.
BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited is authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
